She is best known for her love ballads such as Woman In Love and themes from movies such as Hello Dolly, but now Barbra Streisand is set to conquer the dance charts with a song that samples an x-rated expletive outburst she made.

A few weeks ago at her concert in New York, Jewish songstress extraordinaire Barbra Streisand got into a bit of a ruckus with a member of the audience who disagreed with the way she portrayed George Bush during a comedic moment during her gig.

When the heckler expressed his displeasure, Babs retorted with the words "Shut the f**k up" and now those words have been sampled as part of a new dance track by a New York-based musician.

According to showbiz blog TMZ.com, Lucian Piane aka RevoLucian is still waiting to hear from Barbra as to what she thinks of his tune. "It portrays her in a positive light, making her into a champion," he said. But what if he doesn’t get her approval? "Shut up if you can't take a joke!" he says.

Matisyahu remakes video

Orthodox Jewish rapper/reggae sensation Matisyahu has remade the video for his King Without A Crown classic track.

Now signed to Sony, a few extra bucks have been spent and the results are stunning.

Give a Jew girl toys

Sarah Silverman is a real treat in the world of Jewish comedy, mainly 'cos she's not afraid to tackle subjects like The Holocaust, her doctor and 'er other issues including why does Santa not give Jews toys.

So she can be rude and offensive to some, but at the same time, she also totally rocks and we all love Ms Silverman. Her latest movie, well more of her in concert being filmed is Jesus is Magic. And like everything else that she seems to do, it's a work of sheer genius.

But it's her latest video, Give The Jew Girl Toys that is like, well the best Xmas type song a Jew girl has ever sung.

Forget Adam Sandler and his rather tired Chanukah Song, this is the song for everyone to take ownership of. Maybe it will make sure that all nice Jewish girls finally get a toy from Santa.

Orthodox Jews just wanna have fun

By far the funniest video doing the rounds at the moment is a tribute to The Chevra and their song Lecha.

The song has become such a cult classic that it's even spawned its own unofficial video, currently doing the rounds online.

Directed by someone called David Lavon, it was filmed in several locations including Israel, the US and London, England – and features a cast of hundreds showing their fondness for the song by dancing, miming along and generally acting goofy.

If you've never seen Orthodox Jews – or any Jews for that matter – jumping off walls le parkour style, doing backflips or acting out dance routines that spoof boy bands, then you're in for a treat. We have no idea who David Lavon is, nor why he chose The Chevra, or this particular song, but it works really well. Maybe they should get him to do an official video.
